We love it when we receive a wedding decor brief that actually goes with the venue. Landtscap is a modern space with concrete ceilings, wall features, concrete flooring and BIG open windows overlooking Stellenbosch mountains and winelands. Gretel wanted her wedding table decor to include geometric shapes, the Oak tables kept naked with the green runners going across. To add to this we added garden roses and succulents straight from Gretel’s parents garden. The stationery subtly added to the concrete in the venue and we added hints of geometric shapes. We added naked bulbs running across the venue and a fairylight curtain behind the main table.
Come wedding day, the skies were clear and blue however, the wind was a bit of a trouble maker. You might notice the wedding arch standing a little crooked but the flowers made it and our bridal couple just wanted to get married…come rain or WIND!
This wedding was such a highlight for us this past wedding season, and really reminded me why I love weddings so much. Gretel and her mom made us feel appreciated and I appreciate your kindness so much. Thank you! Gretel & Johnathan, you are a gorgeous couple! We wish you a happy, wonderful and AMAZING marriage.
